PM has assets valued at just over Rs 50lakh

Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee has Rs 25.75lakh in term deposits in the State Bank of India and owns a flat worth Rs 22lakh in New Delhi's posh East of Kailash locality. | Also Read | | |
| According to the affidavit submitted by him on Thursday while filing his nomination papers for the Lucknow Lok Sabha constituency, Vajpayee has Rs 3.82lakh in a savings account in SBI, Rs 20,000 cash and Rs 1.20lakh in National Saving Scheme certificates. He owns a 1995 model Ambassador car and 2400 units of UTI MEP-1991.He does not own jewellery, agricultural or non-agricultural land. He has a share in his ancestral house at Gwalior valued at Rs 6lakh. He has no loans to repay nor any government dues pending against him, the affidavit states.
