'Don't keep assembly in suspended animation'

March 07, 2005 21:58 IST

The Communist Party of India- Marxist on Monday said the Bihar assembly should not be kept in suspended animation after imposition of President's rule.

This would lead to horse trading, party politburo member Anil Biswas said.

He said the most important task at this juncture was to check disunity in the United Progressive Alliance.

Rashtriya Janata Dal president Lalu Prasad Yadav and Lok Janshakti Party chief Ramvilas Paswan should talk and iron out their differences, he said.

He said both Lalu Prasad and Paswan should stop accusing each other for the political stalemate in Bihar, which prompted Governor Buta Singh to recommend President's rule.
