Hindalco has clarified that, no Board meeting has been planned in the near future for working on such proposal. |

ABB denies investment in Videocon Power Project |
Asea Brown Boveri Ltd (ABB) has informed the BSE that the company is not involved in the process of investment in Videocon Power project. The investment was infact intended to be made by ABB Energy Ventures as a foreign investor. However it is understood that ABB Energy Ventures have decided to withdraw from their role as investors in this project. The power generation business of ABB has now been demerged into a new entity "ABB Alstom Power" and in India this company is called ABB Alstom Power India Ltd. It is understood that ABB Alstom Power India Ltd continues to act as EPC contractor for this project. |
