'Unconstitutional, unreasonable and undemocratic'Former Lok Sabha speaker Purno A Sangma today described his expulsion from the Congress party as ''unconstitutional, unreasonable and undemocratic''. Addressing the media today, he said, ''We have not indulged in any anti-party activities and therefore do not attract disciplinary action. ''What we did was to raise a few questions since we believed that the Congress is a democratic party. Maybe they did not have the answers to those questions. Instead, they chose to remove us from the party,'' he said, recalling that he had served the party for more than 25 years. Asked about his next move, he said former defence minister Sharad Pawar was coming to Delhi tomorrow and ''thereafter we will chalk out our future strategy''. ''We have supporters within and outside the Congress who share our perception,'' he added. UNI
