A Nasik court on Saturday issued a non-bailable warrant against noted actor Dilip Kumar, his brother Ahsan Khan and two others in connection with a criminal case pertaining to alleged 'land grabbing'.
Chief Judicial Magistrate S V Deshpande issued the warrant against the four, including a tehsildar and circle officer, after they failed to appear before the court.
All of them have been asked to appear in court on August 9.
According to a complaint filed by Meerabai, widow of freedom fighter late Shivram Khande Borate, the actor had grabbed 19 acres of land belonging to her husband in Dudgaon village near Trimbakeshwar in Nasik district, after making a provisional agreement.
A lower court had cancelled the provisional agreement, but a district court had later upheld the actor's appeal in 1987.
On an appeal against the district court's ruling, the Bombay high court stayed the verdict in 1996.
