Pak rejects Advani's charge of its involvement in Parliament attack

"If India has the courage of its convictions and if it believes that its allegations are right, it should take the matter to the Security Council for impartial determination, instead of making prejudiced and biased allegations in order to defame the freedom struggle in Kashmir as terrorism," Pakistan Foreign Minister Abdul Sattar told state-run Pakistan Television.

Significantly, Sattar's brief interview did not make any reference to Pakistan's promise to take action in the face of any credible evidence nor to the demand for a joint investigation into the attack.

In his interview, Sattar said, "We should recall that Indian authorities are motivated by animus hostility. They jumped to conclusions without conducting and allowing an impartial inquiry. When India made the allegations, we have suggested that the allegations should be subjected to an impartial inquiry."
