Terror suspect's brother, four others
picked up in Kashmir

The elder brother of arrested Delhi lecturer, A R Geelani, was among five persons picked up by the police in Kashmir for interrogation in connection with the December 13 attack on Parliament, official sources said on Wednesday.

Mufti Abdul Rahim, a religious scholar and elder brother of Geelani, was picked up from his Tawheedgunj residence in Baramulla on Tuesday night.

The other four were arrested in Sopore, the sources said adding that their identities have not been disclosed.

The Mufti's arrest led to a flare-up in Baramulla, where angry residents took to the streets raising anti-government slogans.
