At least nine soldiers of the paramilitary Border Security Force were on Tuesday afternoon injured in a improvised explosive device (IED) blast near Lower Munda in Jammu and Kashmir.

The incident occurred about 100km from Srinagar when a BSF bus carrying soldiers to Jammu hit an IED on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway.

The injured were shifted to a hospital in Anantnag town.

No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
