General Election To The Lok Sabha 2004The Election Commission informs the public that electors who have been issued Electoral Photo Identity Cards will have to produce these cards to exercise their franchise when they come to the polling station for voting at the general election to the House of People 2004. Therefore, all the electors intending to cast their votes must carry their election identity card to their respective polling stations. Electors who have not been issued Electoral Photo Identity Cards must bring any one of the following documents prescribed by the Election Commission at the time of voting: Passport Driving Licence Income Tax Identity (PAN) Card Service Identity Card issued to its employees by State/Governments, Public Sector Undertakings, Local Bodies or other Private Industrial Houses Bank/Kisan/Post Office Passbook (Account opened on or before March 31, 2004) Student Identity Card issued by Recognised Educational Institution on or before March 31, 2004 Property Document such as Patta, Registered Deed, etc Ration Card issued on or before March 31, 2004 SC/ST/OBC certificates issued by competent authority on or before 2004 Pension Documents such as ex-servicemen's Pension Book/Pension Payment Order, ex-servicemen's Widow/Dependent Certificate, Old Age Pension Order, Widow Pension Order Railway Identification Card Freedom Fighter Identity Card Arms Licence Certificate of Physical Handicap by Competent Authority issued on or before March 31, 2004
