On Wednesday, March 10, Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani embarked upon yet another yatra. In over a month, his Bharat Uday Yatra will cover 7,872 km in two phases -- first travelling from Kanyakumari in the south to Amristsar in the north and then from the western coastal town of Porbandar in Gujarat to Puri in Orissa. Memories of his Rath Yatras of the 1990s are still fresh. Though he has promised he will not speak about 'mandir' or 'masjid' and the stress will be on developmental issues, many Indians hope that the yatra will not provoke communal passions. Do you have anything to tell Mr Advani -- issues you think he must touch upon, a word of caution, a line of encouragement? Send your messages across to us. Print-outs of all the messages received will be delivered to him by rediff.com correspondents. Speak Up! |
