An Indian Army Mi-17 chopper on Tuesday crashed in Hill Kaka [Images] range of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir [Images].
Police said the chopper was carrying 17 people and all 17 miraculously escaped. Eleven were hurt, and were being treated for minor injuries, they said.
The cause of the crash is still not known and further details are awaited.
Senior army and police officers have rushed to the spot.
