An organisation of displaced Kashmiri Pandits said on Friday that the leaders of Jammu and Kashmir [Images] and Pakistan occupied Kashmir, during their talks, neglected the community, which has been the worst hit by the ongoing turmoil.

"We express dissatisfaction with the neglect of the Kashmiri Pandit community by the leaders of the two sides in the talks," Kashmiri Hindu conference chairman M L Thussoo said. "The community has been living in exile for nearly two decades now and are worst sufferers of the present turmoil".

The community was surprised that not a single leader has made any mention about its plight and honourable resettlement of pandits in Kashmir, he said.
