A day ahead of taking over as new Bharatiya Janata Party president, Rajnath Singh Sunday said he did not believe in challenges, but only in finding a solution to problems.

"Throughout my political career, I have never considered anything as a challenge, but always tried to find a solution to problems," Singh, who will succeed Lal Kishenchad Advani [Images], told reporters in New Delhi [Images].

Asked what was the biggest challenge before him as party chief and how he would face it, Singh said, "Almighty has always helped me in finding a solution to problems."

To a question, he said, "There were no internal differences in the party in the past. Nor there will be any in future."

On Uttar Pradesh [Images] Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav's [Images] reported accusation that there was a nexus between him and the mafia, Singh said, "He should initiate a Central Bureau of Investigation inquiry in this regard."
