A Delhi [Images] Court directed the police on Thursday to register a case against the doctors and management of the city's Apollo Hospital for giving false information to public servants in the Rahul Mahajan drug abuse case.

More details are awaited.

Rahul Mahajan had been admitted to Apollo Hospital in a critical condition last Friday morning. Hospital officials had stated that there were no traces of drugs in his blood and urine samples. However, this was contradicted in a test done by an independent lab, which said that there were traces of cocaine and a cocktail of other drugs in his urine samples.
