Gangster Abu Salem's companion Monica Bedi has sought transfer of a fake passport case against her being heard by a court in Bhopal to Delhi or Mumbai.
In a letter to the Chief Justice of India, Bedi had claimed that justice could not be served to her in Madhya Pradesh as the case was fabricated and evidence was being tampered with, her counsel P C Bedi told PTI.
Seeking transfer of the case to Delhi or Mumbai as probe agencies were working against her, Bedi claimed she was being denied bail though it was granted to main accused Mohammed Siraj, who was also made an approver.
The case was registered against Bedi, Salem, his wife Sameera Jumani, Siraj and his brother Baba for allegedly procuring passports on the basis of fake documents in 2001.
Bedi, convicted in a similar case by a court in Hyderabad, was brought to Bhopal last year and held at the Central Jail.
