"The state government has no specific evidence about Maoist infiltration into Nandigram, though there have been intelligence reports in this regard for the past three months," Home Secretary P R Roy told reporters at Writers' Buildings.

To a question, Roy said though there had been no fresh clash at Khejuri near Nandigram, additional police forces had been deployed in the areas adjoining it.

No date has been finalised for holding an all-party peace meeting in Nandigram for restoring peace there, he said.

Previous attempts to hold such meetings failed after the opposition Trinamool Congress boycotted them.

The state government had decided to set up police camps in the troubled areas and to streamline the PDS, education and health services for people there, Roy said after a high-level meeting on Monday worked out administrative measures to restore peace in Nandigram as directed by the Calcutta High Court.

The meeting was presided over by Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee and attended by the chief secretary, state police chief, IGP (Law and Order), food secretary, magistrate and police superintendent of East Midnapore district.
