If narco analysis tests are to be believed, HuJI commander Shahid Bilal is the man behind the Hyderabad blasts.
During the narco analysis tests conducted on Imran aka Sayed Khan at the Bowring hospital in Bangalore on Tuesday it was revealed that Bilal was the man behind the blasts that rocked Hyderabad a week back.
Imran is a suspect in the Mecca Masjid blasts that occurred five months back in which 10 persons lost their lives. In the narco analysis test that lasted almost three-and-a-half hours, the 25-year-old also revealed that he had never met Bilal personally.
Imran, who is an employee at a corporate bank, however, added that he had remained in constant touch with Bilal.
Sources said Imran provided sensitive information regarding the terror modules and their modus operandi. The names of several other militants were also revealed. He had earlier undergone brain mapping and polygraph tests.
Abdul Kaleem, another suspect, will be subjected to a narco analysis test on Wednesday.
Both Kaleem and Imran were arrested in Hyderabad on charges of sheltering a person wanted in connection with the Mecca Masjid blasts.
The investigating agency says that Kaleem had secured 50 sim cards before the Mecca Masjid blasts. The police are trying to ascertain as to why these sim cards were secured and to whom he had had distributed them to.
It will be interesting to see what the Hyderabad police will now do to secure Shahid aka Bilal, who is allegedly in Bangladesh. This is the second time he is being named in a narco analysis test.
