The demand was raised by BJP leader V K Malhotra at a meeting of floor leaders convened by Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee [Images] to discuss the modalities of going through the business of the House.

A total of 12 hours spread over two days -- has been allotted for the discussion. Today,  the House would sit at least till 10 pm.

It was decided to meet again on Tuesday to take a call on the issue, Malhotra said after the meeting.

The Speaker sought complete cooperation of the members in the smooth running of the House.
