ITI held by last-minute goalA last minute goal deprived Indian Telephone Industries, Bangalore, full points, as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Kolkata's Tollygunge Aggragami in their second round match in the sixth National Football League in Bangalore on Monday. With just a few seconds left for the long whistle, former ITI player Prahlad Rawat latched on to a pass from the right flank and slammed home a knee level shot, beating ITI custodian R Balaji, who had done a good job under the bar. Jitesh had earlier put ITI ahead in the 43rd minute off a free-kick as the telephone men led 1-0 at half-time. ITI had more ball possesion but did not take advantage and also squandered a couple of chances of scoring that came their way. It was the second successive draw for ITI on home ground, having drawn with Mahindra United last week. Tollygunje, after losing to Mohun Bagan, picked their first point with the draw.
