Chelsea will be hoping to emulate London [Images] rivals Arsenal [Images] by beating Barcelona in the opening leg of their Champions League first knockout round tie on Wednesday.
Arsenal scored a stunning 1-0 upset win over Real Madrid [Images] at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid on Tuesday and Chelsea will aim to complete an English double over the Spanish at Stamford Bridge.
Wednesday's other matches see a third British-Spanish clash with Rangers facing Villarreal in Glasgow.
Juventus, similarly, will want to at least match what AC Milan achieved in Germany [Images] on Tuesday night when they face Werder Bremen away on Wednesday.
Milan left Bayern Munich with a 1-1 draw from their first leg match -- a result that will probably be acceptable for the Italians with the second leg in Turin in two weeks' time.
Ajax Amsterdam, though, will try to do better than Dutch rivals PSV Eindhoven in their home leg against Inter Milan.
Eindhoven lost 1-0 to visiting Olympique Lyon on Tuesday, an outcome Ajax would want to avoid at all costs.
The second legs of three of Wednesday's matches take place on Tuesday March 7, with Ajax visiting Milan on March 14.
