Message: i think we don't have a very deadly attack but a reasonable one. But kumble shouldn't be there. one spinner that is harbhajhan should be included only b'coz he has more variety and he can bat and field lot better than kumble.If srinath can bat like he did against west indies in test series he should be there in the world cup, not otherwise. Zaheer will be the key. agarkar have to be consistent with both bat and ball and Ashish nehra can be a useful bowler. IF things goes on accordingly it is a quite useful attack

Message: The team composition prior to the World Cup should be on filling in the weaknesses so inherent in the team. The most crucial being the seam bowling dept. Everyone knows what Agarkar, Srinath and Nehra can do...which to be honest has not been an awefull lot in recent times. Use the opportunity to try out new blood and prospects....we might just discover a gem of a player like we have with the batting. The selectors and captain need to shed there conservative approach and be more ruthless. They need to get the message out that there are places up for grabs and if they are good enough they will have the opportunity. The only way to know this is to put them at the deep end and play them against opposition and see if they can and have the ability to raise there game.

Message: Yes.We do have good bowling strength.I'm sure they'll do well in the world cup 2003, as Srinath and Zaheer are extremely talented pace bowlers and they will definetly take maximum of the wickets as well as ashish nehra who swings the bowl well and also ajit agarkar who can bowl good reverse swings.

Message: Srinath, Zaheer and Ashish pace attack can help a lot to the team provided if these bowlers tries to bowl one or two yorkers in each of their alloted overs. No doubt they are a decent attackers. However, I feel it is baseless to always blame the bowlers for not wining the match. I strictly feel, our fieldings is still weak. This is the area where each and every player is required to put their fullest efforts. This can help a bowler boost very well in always bowling good line and length and lot in wining the matches being played.

Message: Well it 's a pretty tricky one.India has a fast bowling pair in Nehra and Khan.They have to be perfectly fit if India wishes to win.Nehra should improve in his line and length.He should also try to bowl wicket to wicket that to with pretty great force as South African Skipper Shaun Pollock does with the new ball.India should also try Experimenting with new pace bowlers as we need to add teeth to our speed ball bowlers.Srinath has become too old for this.

Message: I think if the Indian batting line up clicks in the coming world cup, then it will be a booster for the bowling department.Otherwise,it will be difficult for the indian bowlers to make a mark as Indians have never been a great bowling side. The Batsmens have to support them by putting a good total on the board.

Message: We should not be under the impression that we have bowlers. We do not have bowlers who can restrict the opposing team under 225. Also, I do not understand what MRF and NCA are doing. They should be unearthing and producing some fast bowlers. Are they just the white elephants? We should start talking to all the rejected Pakistani bowlers (Kabir Khan, Aquib Javed, etc.) and persuade them to migrate to India. They can still do better than current Indian bowlers.

Message: India always had a good batting line up, but at this point of time they also have consistancy in their batting performance. But our bowling is at its worst. Though it is very rare that our batsmen coming out after #7 get to bat, it is surpising that we are still looking for an all-rounder. Why can we not just look for a good fast bowler? If we are serious about the World Cup, we should look for pace bowlers and forget about the all-rounders and spinners at this time. We do not need a specialist spinner in South Africa. Sehwag, Yuvraj, Kaif, Tendulkar, Ganguly can share some overs among them. But what we are missing is a good strike bowler. Most important: Will God have to send an Avatar to explain the selectors that Agarkar has enough chances.

Message: the point is that, if these indian bowlers are consistent throughout the 50 overs, they will be effective..but if they continue to bowl like what mr. agarkar did in the last one dayer at rajkot, we will always have to chase a heafty total most likely against quality bowlers in South African pitches..its possible but definitely tougher. i can safely say that to achieve these batting results consistently is very very tough and unlikely..for any team be it australia or india...in cases where we bat first and dont do too well, the game is almost lost ... in any case we need to do well with our resources in hand... if wishes were horses, then beggars would ride..

Message: No, except zaheer khan. one should not consider kumble for SA, as his record do not favour him at all. he is good only in sub continent.

Message: yes. i have no doubt about the bowling skills of Zaheer Khan, Srinath and Harbhajan Singh. Zaheer's sheer pace and bowling with lot of heart, Srinath's experience, Harbhajan's ability to bowl six different balls in over can make all the difference. but i am not sure about Ashish Nehra and Ajit agarkar.

Message: I would say 50-50. We have Zaheer and Srinath. Pretty much that's hit. We definitely need to find a bowling all rounder. Not Agarker please. He has been given too many chances and shown the world what a disaster he his. We should find some expert bowler suited specifically in Sa environment. Mohanty could be a good option too. Why can't we try out Murali Karthik. Ganguly should have more faith in him and should give some good opportunity to prove his metal. I really doubt Harbajan and Kumble is going to succeed in SA.
