Virender Sehwag got off India to a steady start in the second semi-final against Kenya at the Kingsmead cricket ground in Durban, South Africa on Thursday. He was out for 33 runs, caught by Odumbe off Ongondo's bowling.
Sachin Tendulkar continued his rich form in the tournament with another fine half-century. He also completed 600 runs in this World Cup.
Indian captain Sourav Ganguly scored his second consecutive century against Kenya. He scored a brilliant 111 of 114 balls, which included 5 towering sixes and 5 fours.
Tendulkar boosted his World Cup aggregate to a record 669 runs with a fine innings of 83.
Mohammed Kaif came in late and made a useful 15, displaying some brilliant running between the wickets.
Tendulkar put on 103 runs for the second wicket with Ganguly.
Ganguly celebrates after reaching his ton. This was his third century in the ongoing World Cup, in which he has scored 441 runs.
