Rupee moves little

Spot dollar opened slightly higher at 39.71-72 moved in a very narrow range with matching demand and supply, went up to 39.72-73 due to some initial demand and finally settled down at 39.69-70 as against the previous close of Rs 39.70-71.

Nominal merchant booking was done as exporters and importers were waiting for the Reserve Bank of India's announcement on credit policy, dealers said.

The six-month annualised premia worked out to be at 7.00 per cent.
