Kumar Birla makes it to Tisco board

Kumar Mangalam Birla, chairman, Aditya Birla group has been appointed director on the board of Tata Iron and Steel Company or Tisco, the Tata group flagship.

The Board of Directors of Tisco cleared the appointment on Thursday which came into effect immediately. It also informed the stock exchanges of the move.

Other well-known non-executive directors on the now 13-member Tisco board are Nusli Wadia, chairman, Bombay Dyeing and Keshub Mahindra, chairman, Mahindra & Mahindra.
