Amrita Patel is new chairperson of National Dairy Board

Dr Amrita patel, managing director of the National Dairy Development Board will take over as its chairperson with effect from tomorrow.

According to a media statement, the government of India has appointed Dr Patel as the chairperson for a period of five years following the acceptance of request for retirement made by Dr Kurien, the outgoing chairman.
