NetIP Conference To Hear 6 Experts

Six Indian American industry leaders whose firms' market capitalization exceeds several billion dollars will address the Indian professional group, NetIP/IPN, at a one-day conference in Norcross.

The August 22 conference is expected to draw 300 professionals.

"For the first time, we are bringing together speakers from three major industry sectors where Americans of Indian Origin have excelled themselves," says organizer Seema Jain. The six speakers represent computer, healthcare and hospitality industries.

"These speakers are getting together to share their achievements, provide insight on future growth areas in their respective industries."

The speakers are:

Ashok Trivedi, co-chairman and president, Mastech Corporation with 5,500 consultants over 18 countries

B V Jagdeesh, co-founder and CTO of Exodus Corporation, co-founder of Fouress Inc Hospitality Industry

H P Rama, founding chairman of the Asian American Hotel Owners Association, chairman of the Board of American Hotel and Motel Association.

Mike Patel, ex-chairman and 1999 executive committee member of AAHOA -- chairman of industry relations, president of diplomat hotels health care industry.

Dr Navin C Nanda, MD, founding president of the American Association of Cardiologists of Indian Origin, past president of the AAPI, professor of medicine and director, heart station/ echocardiography laboratories, University of Alabama.

Dr Kiran Patel, chairman of Wellcare Health Management of Florida, New York and Connecticut, secretary elect for AAPI for 1999-2000

NetIP/IPN (Network of Indian Professionals) is a non-profit organization with informal membership of approximately 1,800 professionals in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. NetIP/IPN members are leaders in their own fields including Information Technologists, Physicians, Financiers, Realtors, Hoteliers, Engineers and Lawyers
