Business Opportunities in the New Millennium

A slew of big-time entrepreneurs and academics, including Naveen Jain, C K Prahlad and Tej Sidhu will address the TiEcon'99 conference here.

'Entrepreneurship in the New Millennium' will be of interest to early-stage entrepreneurs and established businesses and the contents are designed so as to address issues relevant to them. Attendees are primarily entrepreneurs and professionals from start-up companies, but range from individuals who are new to entrepreneurship, to companies that are already shipping products. Therefore, the Conference is organized into the following two parallel tracks that cover both basic material and select topics in depth.

The event is slated at Sheraton Hotel on October 23.

The second annual conference organized by TiE Southern California, it offers the experiences of successful entrepreneurs and professionals who have volunteered their time for aspiring entrepreneurs. In addition, this conference provides an opportunity for peer-to-peer networking.

TiE Southern California is a chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs, based in Santa Clara, California. This is a not-for-profit organization with a mission to foster and support entrepreneurship. The parent organization, TiE, has held highly successful annual conferences for the past five years.

TiEcon '99 is organized to deliver information, which will assist in all aspects and phases of business formation, growth, and management. The content is prepared and delivered by highly successful industry leaders.
